Ladakh Road Trip - 13
We all woke up and got ready for a drive around the Shrinagar city. The boat owner had offered us a good deal on a rented car with a chauffeur. We roamed around in a tata-sumo. Went to see the famous Shankaracharya temple. From there we went to the Dal and had an hour long tour of the lake in Shikara. We saw beautiful house boats standing
in the lake. We then went to the market where we bought some warm clothes for our family members. We came back to the boat house, had our lunch and took a rest for the rest of the day. We had to leave for Jammu the next day. I’m not writing anything about our departure for and from Jammu and it wasn’t that good as compared to the rest of the
travelogue. I always hate the last day of any of my trips, but with the hope that this end is actually a new beginning, I found myself traveling back home, with a lot of great memories to share with my family and friends.
